What Should I Look For In A Professional DJ Service?

A professional DJ should be willing to meet with you to discuss your particular party, dance, wedding or corporate event. A DJ will also be registered as a business and carry liability and property insurance, be able to provide testimonials and provide a written contract for booking.

How Will I know If The Disc Jockey Is Right For My Event?

You should feel comfortable with the DJ you hire. The DJ should be able to answer all of your concerns and be flexible with your requests. Pricing should not be the determining factor as all DJ's are not the same. There is a reason some charge more than other. Generally it's because they charge more in terms of service, equipment, music selection and an intangible ability to "read" the crowd and select the music that fits at the moment.

How Much Is This Going To Cost?

Please bear in mind that in this industry you get what you pay for. Prices will vary depending on lighting equipment, etc. and on the length of time of the event. Beware of DJ services that charge less than most as they may be inexperienced. Remember, if the deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
